The Cold Boy
The boy's face was cracked. It looked like he was made of ice and when I hit him, it created a single crack down the side of his face. "You aren't very nice," he said. The floor was covered in frost and my elbow was painfully hurting from where I had touched him. "It's so cold. I think someone left the window open, because it's so cold."
- brighter than a spoon
He appears to the lonely and alone: a little boy, all on his own, singing nursery rhymes. If you take a closer look, however, certain things are noticed: his face looks blurred, like a bad Polaroid, and his skin seems to be ice.
The Cold Boy likes taking the lonely away, back to his realm, the Winter Court. If they refuse, he can freeze them. But if they allow, he will turn them into one of his Children of the Cold, with their black eyes and still hearts.
